We are a team of four qualified tour guides who offer guided tours and trekking tours in English. We have lived in Tuscany for many years and the Maremma has become our second home! Come and join one of our tours in English!

Natascha Briese

I was born in Munich and grew up in Germany, southern Tuscany and India. After my graduation I decided to do a sabbatical year working and travelling.

In the end, however, my road took me to a small village in the high mountains in Bavaria, where I attended a wooden sculpture school, a very wide, interesting and fascinating professional path.

The Maremma has always been my second home and I have now lived here with my husband and my two children for almost 15 years.

My passion for art, but also the desire to understand the history, the everyday life of the past and today and the people of this area, were the reasons that led me to conclude my training as a „Tourist Guide „and to choose to live in Maremma!

In fact, it is always a great pleasure for me to show you something of „my“ Maremma!

Natascha Rüdinger

I was born in Switzerland to German parents and after I graduated I came to Siena to study Italian at the ”University for Foreigners”.

Later I enrolled in modern letters at the University of Siena and after my studies I started working as an escort and tourist guide.

I have lived with my husband and two children in Maremma for many years now. It was clear that my passion would reawaken and, after a long break of motherhood, I started work again as a tour guide.

With joy and enthusiasm I try to convey to the guests my love and my passion for this land and its people!

Born in Austria, I came to Florence for the first time during the Erasmus study exchange program. Inspired by the „Italian flair“ I moved further to do my thesis in Tuscany, more precisely in the Maremma Natural Park.

Since I was in the southern Tuscany I never left and now for many years I have been living here with my family.

My training, first for nature and hiking guide and now also as a tourist guide, deepened my love for this country.

I’m happy to show you during my trekking tours the versatile and unspoiled nature of the Maremma in southern Tuscany.

Birgit Pollak

Born in New York by czech parents, I came to Europe (Germany) when I was nine years old. Then, when I was 17, I decided to study art, which I did for a few years.

After that I worked for some time as a photographer, but then I decided to leave everything and live in Maremma, because I could never forget this place after my first visit.

I was always fascinated by the landscape, style of life and especially the renaissance art of Tuscany.

Soon after I started to work as a tourguide, after passing the exam for cityguide and hikingguide.

Beside art, hiking is one of my passions and if I can guide a tour of hiking wich ends in a little church with great art, I feel so happy that I could embrace the whole world!
